This guy doesn't have a clue. He is deviating so much from the core US policy, I don't know where it might end. I wonder whether we are better off with the last one????
If Obama signs this bill into a law, this will be the end of Capitalism and some extent Indo-US relations. India may drag US at WTO followed by backlash here. so this will make things for immigrants really tough in this country. So go figure out....Obama & socialism loving maniacs. Durban & Grassley did not have permission to visit Bush's whitehouse. But ofcourse Obama loves these clowns.

I guess only a minority of people get stuck in name check ( unlike immigration portal forums , the FBI namecheck discussion thread doesn't move much) or may be that majority still in the 'waiting for receipt notice/FP' mode.

Came to US in 1999
Applied for EB3 labor in July 2004
Applied 485 in July 2nd 2007
Waiting for EB3 dates for India
Mean time wife applied for EB2 NIW Self petition in March 2006 and got approved
Again she applied for new labor in Nov 2009 and applied for I-140 in May 2010 in EB2
Her new EB2 I-140 got approved in Aug 4th 2010 and USCIS ported the March 2006 priority date automatically
Yesterday she opened SR and today got the approval magic letter
Special thanks to immigration voice and all the immigration voice members

If a bad person who is going to fail a name check is already in the country, then name checks are not going to deter him from doing his thing. Just because a name check is pending without a GC means nothing to a potential bad guy.
If a foreigner tries to become a governor or tries to join a govt agency he goes through a lot more special screening than just name checks. It should be up to the FBI to fail or pass a name check and all benefits should be revoked if the FBI fails a name check. This is going to be rare and there is no need to fight the battle for somebody who fails a name check (which is where your argument is so extremely stupid). It happens in other spheres too, sometimes people lose their jobs after many years if the company finds that you falsified information like degree etc.
I am not going to stretch this discussion beyond this as it seems to me spiraling out of limits of reason. Of all the things you said to support your argument, the first part of your latest mail will kill any support you might get from any normal person. From your arguments I think may be you should change your name to "stupiddesi". YOu would even clear your namecheck easily; or may be not - too many of them ;-)

Did AILA screwed up the party of many july filers by sending this memo http://www.shusterman.com/pdf/aila-cis-vb.pdf to uscis which scared them and prompting them to come up with the legal proof revised bulletin causing this whole mess. Should AILA had waited until july , then we would probably have a strong legal ground to fight against the uscis ??

I have 2004 W2 but cant seem to find my tax return. I have 2003, 2005, 2006tax returns but not 2004. What can I do to get that return. Please any advice will be nice.

go to irs.gov > personal section and find somethink like transcripts. you can oder transcripts for free or copy of your tax return for $39 ( I guess)

Thanks Guys, I am from India and I applied in EB2, I do not have to port since my dates are current but I still do not support this idea because I know how difficult it is for one to better his situation just because he is not having a GC. My LC was stuck in backlog centers when perm labor applications was being approved left, right and centre�

I had a very smooth H1 stamping experience at US consulate in New Delhi on February 19. Everyone around us (atleast 4-5 people) had "PIMS Found" written on their D-156. We were sent to the premium processing line as I was revalidating the visa through the same employer. I was just asked how long I have worked for my current employer. I received my passport within 2 business days.

NSC sent me a response that my GC got lost in mail as I raised a SR for card. My wife got CPO but I got a letter from USCIS NSC that my card was sent on the same day my I-485 approval notice was sent which I think is some mix up on USCIS and to file I-90 . I got all letters from USCIS but not this one so I called customer service and talked to 2nd level IO who went through my case and said card was never created. She will raise a new SR for that which was on 10/12/2010

I saw two LUDs on my 485, I found out one was after FP, the second one was after FP, BC clearance. I found mine was in name check

My attr said that uscis does not follow any chrological order to approve cases. Rather, it takes any 485 application filed before Jan 22, 05. So, your point on "giving more time" won't work here.
This is what I did. I did not get GC yet though, but got to know where I'm at.
1. Contacated NCS numerous times and raised two SRs.
2. Took inforpass a couple of times. Infopass IOs have more detailed info about our cases.
3. Contact Senator requesting that my appln be assigned to an IO, and it was done so. It is with an IO now. Hoping and praying that my IO picks up application to approve it this week.
4. Contacted Ombudsman late last week. Hoping to get some good actions taken on my application.
5. You might consider contacting Janet Napolitino as well.
